A workshop to share creative play ideas through reading picture books.

Join the Play Workers from the Hong Kong Central Library Toy Library as they transform the storyline of the picture book OH... I'm So Scared... into engaging games using simple materials! Come and play through the story with your child.

Target Audience: Children aged 4–8, each accompanied by 1 parent (1 adult and 1 child per group)

Quota: 20 families per session

Language: Cantonese

Fee: Free of charge

Terms & Conditions

Registration Date: Registration opens on August 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM on a first-come, first-served basis.

Registration Details: Please register using the child's name.

Session Limit: Both sessions share the same content. Registration is unitized per child, and each child may only participate in one session per day (inclusive of Parent-Child Game Workshops and regular Play Sessions).

Check-in Policy: Participants must check in at the Toy Library 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. If a participant fails to check in within 5 minutes after the session starts, their spot will be allocated to walk-in standby waiting list participants.

Dress Code: For hygiene reasons, all visitors (both parents and children) must wear socks to enter and remain in the Toy Library.
